Selfie Passport Photo?

The last time I had my passport renewed I had to trod down to the local CVS store, shell out a few bucks and they gave me some horrible looking photos.

No longer do we have to use such inglorious photography!

I'm dubiously using a tread-worn saying that should be retired "There is an App for that".

It'sEasy has helped people with Passport documents for quite some time, however now they are including a feature in their app that allows the user to take and submit their own photo. You can upload a few photos and get some feedback on whether the picture will work.
